Our Perth Wallpaper Installation Projects
West Perth Wallpaper Installation
Decoria Painting were contracted to combine traditional wall painting with a modern wallpaper finish in this spectacular Perth building. Our installers assisted with the wall demolition and installing a new partition where we had worked alongside other tradesmen in order to complete the project within a set time restriction.
Our painters and wallpaper installers firstly treated the new wall surfaces with a 3 coat system. All of the surfaces where pre-painted, the walls were prepared and then undercoated. Finally, the earthy tones were selected from the Dulux colour range.
Once the paint was applied, our wallpaper installers had professionally prepared the walls before applying the wallpaper to give the room a modern feature wall finish. All work was carried out with the utmost care and the client was very happy with the outcome.
How to Clean Wallpaper
When cleaning wallpaper, you should always ensure that you are using the most utmost care.
Firstly, you will have to wipe down any dust build up on the wall. Be careful when using a vacuum cleaner so that you do not scratch the wallpaper. It is advised that you wipe the wallpaper down with a dry cloth.
Secondly, use a dough or Blu-Tack to lift any remaining dirt. Before you wipe your wallpaper with a damp cloth, it is advised that you test whether your wallpaper does not react to water. Some old wallpapers may absorb the water and become damaged in the process.
